Logo 1 is better, if you want a compact version drop the ‘shadows’ to make it look more like Logo 2. The pixelisation of Logo 2 looks silly – vectors are the thing these day

I say Logo 1, but make the image smaller like Logo 2. Logo 2 is just difficult to look at (maybe because the pixelation is so large).

Yes, I agree with most everyone. Logo 1 looks great! Maybe for different uses, change sizing and shadowed images, but for main logo, I like this sizing.
