Update: for those who don’t get why this is a big deal, realize that today you can only install PowerShell to your windows folder.  Also, you can’t install v1 and v2 CTP side-by-side.  This technique lets you install posh to a USB drive if you want.  It also lets you play with v2 but have the ability to go back to v1 at any time.  cool stuff.
